Recently, my blog has become very popular according to the stats. Because I have the "Sensitive Content" warning turned on requiring Goolag login and interaction to say they wish to continue, these are not simple bot hits or crawler activity. In fact Goolag, Duck-Duck-Go, Bing, Yahoo!, etc. none of the search engines find my blog directly by entering "75 Million Pissed Off Patriots", only the references to it from other bloggers. I have everything turned on for search allowances in the blog settings. Even when I search "75mpop" it comes up with my X profile, but not this blog. Yet the majority of referrals come from Goolag? The Goolag analytics show ZERO activity for the past 3 months. Weirdness I don't understand.
So if you are visiting my blog, please drop a comment. My brain is starved for the dopamine hit that comes from interaction on my ramblings. I am coming up on 3K followers on X so I do get quite a bit of activity there. Of course my hate speech (there is no such thing) earns me regular stints in X Jail, just like Otis the drunk on the old Andy Griffith Show.
My blog is also recording what I think of as high unusual numbers. Posts are routinely getting 500 to 1k hits a day when the usual was less than 100.
ReplyDeleteI went from about 1,000 a day to over 15k a day rather suddenly.
ReplyDeleteI pick you up from wirecutter's blog. You seem to be much more prolific as of late, so that may be part of it. I like firearms and appreciate your range reports. I also respect your service as part of the PG patrol. I had never heard of it until I landed here one day. I agree with a lot of what you think although I have always leaned towards the "Grey Man" persona. Sorry about your possible employment move recently as I thought you were pretty excited about the prospect. As for Otis, he was the only married character. Perhaps the writers were more subtle than most viewers noticed.
ReplyDeleteI link over from Busted Knuckles or Knuckledragging my Life Away, using either Chrome or Brave. Chrome stores the login cookie, but I have to toggle Brave which seems to run on Chrome infrastructure, as the updates seem to track with Chrome. I escaped from the People's Republic in the mid-80s to the southlands, so it's good to see things that validate my escape and continue to remind me why I never want to go back...
ReplyDeleteI have been following your blog for quite some time. I actually get here from The Gun Blog Black List. Whenever you post something new, it shows up there and I just follow the link.
ReplyDeleteWishing you and your loved ones safety and good health.
Not a bad blog, as far as i can see.
ReplyDeleteI come here a few times a week.
@Fred Horn and @Angus Mc Thag: perhaps our blogs are on some kind of loony left list so they can rile up the base to try to find us and give us what Charlie got?
ReplyDeleteJust me being all conspiracy theorist like.
And to everyone else.... oh... the dopamine!!!
You're on my blogroll @ trainwreck which I come through direct when you post.
ReplyDeleteI had you on my blogroll (I think) when you had a different blog (but I may be thinking of someone else).
I was following you on tweeter, but they banned me for some kind of fake account BS- or a leftie bot swarm reported me for pissing someone off.
The more you post, the higher you're rated.
I click over from Knuckledragging. I find it interesting in what others do and write about.
ReplyDeleteI’ve been reading your blog for about a year. I don’t remember how I wound up here. Probably from a mention in a blog I was reading or a blog roll. I can not understand why the left cancels anyone with a different opinion than theirs. I don’t like what you say, I leave. But, then again, I do think for myself.
ReplyDelete@GunnyFrank: I have no reason to watch or read content I don't like or agree with so I stay away. I long for the day that cable/satellite/streaming "packages" are no more and you can pick your content totally ala carte. Bye Bye all the Spanish language channels, BET, ESPN, MTV, CNN, MSNBC, etc. all the garbage I NEVER WATCH but am stuck paying for even with a minimum package I am stuck with that trash. If that happened, do you know how many channels would cease to exist? Most of them... because their actual audience numbers are in the toilet.
DeleteFound you linked from similar blogs a few years back. Middlesex County neighbor
ReplyDelete@Arnisador: Or as I like to say: "Behind enemy lines in a blue state shithole."
DeleteJust to let ya know, I'm a retired fat white boy outta upper Midwest. I view your blog maybe two to three times a week.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the uptick in views is coming from some surveillance bot, combing sites of patriots. Trying to amass evidence...
@Steve: "Maybe the uptick in views is coming from some surveillance bot, combing sites of patriots. Trying to amass evidence..."
DeleteOh my.... wouldn't that be delicious, especially if someone wants to try and act upon such information.
