Kommiecticut's chief tyrant Gov. "Jolly" Ned Lamont, that is. His emergency "powers" just got extended for yet another month, now until May 20th. Remember two weeks to flatten the curve? At least there is now action about it coming from the General Assembly and push back from GOP members. The assembly actually voted on it this time, and the vote to extend went along party lines 90-50. The governor's last press event is where he pleaded with us to just hold on a little longer. He promises a great life for all of us in the future. How about FUCK YOU, PAL! I will continue ignoring your diktats as I have after I saw it was all bullshit about 2 months in to this mess.
It sounded eerily similar to the pleas in this emotional video from the new director of the CDC, Dr. Rochelle Walensky. Tremble in the chin, quivering voice and all... sniff, boo-hoo.
