I was doing this during Trump's first term and am doing it again. I'm not buying a stamp, I'll just write it.
I figured "why stop with the $20 bill?" so I did this with a fiver
The law is vague whether this is legal or not. Destroying currency or rendering it unusable certainly is, drawing a mustache on George Washington? Meh.... who cares. To be honest, I never really look at my cash unless I receive a substantial amount and need to count it. If someone were to write "ALL MAGA MUST DIE!!" I probably would never even see it.

The law is clear.
ReplyDeleteAs long as you don't change the value of the currency.
Fuck her
@matthew W: I usually keep a little over $100 in my wallet. $40 folded and permanently stashed and the other $60 plus as three $20 bills and an assortment of smaller bills. I used the last of my $20's requiring replacement at an ATM. Those three bills were promptly marked up before going in my wallet as the stashed ones were already. This will be my new ritual.
DeleteI used to stamp all my $1s right next to Washington's face with a little word bubble that said "I grew HEMP". Important to remind folks of the truth. She should probably just put down her ugly safety glasses and take her own life. Clearly she can't handle reality.
