Q: Why do I think there's a commie behind every tree?
A: BECAUSE THERE IS A FUCKING COMMIE BEHIND EVERY TREE!!

Utilize the language with the same manipulation the Commies do, using the phrase "VACCINE FREE" instead of "UNVACCINATED" or "NON-VACCINATED"

"Why Do You Think You Need To....

....carry a firearm all the time?" I am asked by certain people I know. My answer is always the same. "We live in a stupid clown world, and the stupid can find you ANYWHERE!" This is once again obviously true in Gun-Free Death Zones, where I will carry regardless unless having to pass through a metal detector (then I switch to an undetectable polycarbonate blade). Yes, even at schools and school activities. Amazingly, no one has ever been injured even though a firearm was present.

There was yet another school shooting, this time at a Christian private school in Wisconsin earlier today. This incident will be memory-holed soon since the shooter used a handgun which doesn't fit the narrative unless it was a 3D "ghost gun" (which only exists as a pro gun control construct).

Rest assured, none of my "ghost guns" have ever misbehaved while in my possession. Although I cannot guarantee certain military surplus arms I own (REAL weapons of war) have not taken lives in the distant past.

Oh No, Not Another FUDD!

This past Saturday evening we had a bonfire at my house and had several friends over. Because of work, weather, wildfire conditions, and activities requiring us to get up early the next day, this is the first one we've had all year. I started burning late morning, by lighting off the brush pile that has filled my fire pit since last fall. I continued to feed the pit with downed tree limbs supplemented by firewood. My stack of firewood was pretty wet, forcing me to place firewood standing on end inside the rock fire ring to dry out before being placed on the fire pile. As the firewood dried out and put on the fire it was replaced with more wet wood. Every now and then a few seconds of forced air with my hand held leaf blower turning it into a blast furnace ensured the fire kept burning well all night long. I'll pre-dry a quantity of firewood before the next fire.

What prompted this post is finding out someone in the fire service I have known for 40 years is a raging FUDD and a BUTTER and I never knew it. In case you're new to my blog, or firearms, or The Second Amendment, here's a couple of definitions:

FUDD:  Especially those veterans that spout their anti-gun views because "muh service"

BUTTER:  "I believe in The Second Amendment, BUT nobody needs/should have ______"

I am a Second Amendment absolutist, meaning if you can afford it, you should be able to purchase it, straight from the manufacturer WITHOUT ANY GOVERNMENT KNOWLEDGE OR INTERFERENCE. And I do mean EVERYTHING! F-15 fighters, nuclear powered submarines, M1 Abrams tanks, Blackhawk helicopters, etc. Every single federal, state, or local gun law that prevents, prohibits, or otherwise restricts ownership or use of ANY ARMS is an infringement. PERIOD. FULL STOP. The ATF should be immediately disbanded and dissolved, and every employee from the janitor to the director should be put on trial for crimes against American Citizens. And no, The Second Amendment wasn't written to protect hunting and target shooting, but to prevent a tyrannical out of control government. All enemies, foreign and domestic so The Oath goes.

We were seated around the fire and there were several conversations going on. The individual that is the subject of this post was seated next to me. His wife usually comes but she was under the weather. All of a sudden I get a text from a member of my sportsman's club that lives in town. He had fallen at his house and injured himself earlier in the day requiring EMS transport to the hospital. He texted me and asked (jokingly) why I wasn't there when he needed me. I explained I wasn't on duty, but as a joke I would send him my schedule so he only hurts himself when I am working. A guy sitting across from us is also a member of my FD and my sportsman's club. I told him who got hurt, which prompted my friend next to me to ask "Oh, you belong to a shooting range?" I told him I did and that I am the club secretary. He starts telling me he had bought a 9mm pistol years ago but hasn't fired it yet. I asked him if he was carrying it (bad idea if you are not intimately familiar with a firearm for EDC)? He said no, he never would, it's just for the house. I told him he should join me at my range and shoot it, and that I carry all the time. Oh boy, that's when all the FUDD rhetoric spewed forth. He said he'd never carry because it is so restrictive. I told him we live in a stupid clown world and the stupid can find you anywhere, so I carry everywhere regardless, including across state lines. Then he voiced his support for a total "assault weapons" ban because "nobody needs such a thing." I told him no one should be determining the needs of others. Boy he really lit up at the mention of infringements against The Second Amendment, and said something like "screw the Second Amendment it was written for muskets and I am sick of hearing about The Constitution." Wow.... I knew right there that this conversation was potentially not going to remain civil, and used the pause to get up and add firewood to the fire, just dropping the whole subject. I value his friendship more than trying to convince him at 77 years old how wrong he is. The rest of the evening was enjoyable and he actually left the gathering first.

This is the root picture used on X to create FUDD memes. Ol' Pop-Pop wearing a blaze orange hunter cap. The number of firearms I own would be derogatorily called an "arsenal" and the several cubic feet of ammo called a "cache" by such an individual.

"I have a .22 rifle, a bolt action .30-06, and a shotgun. That''s all that anyone ever needs. Concealed handguns are the tool of the criminal"

I actually had a FUDD (a former chief of my department) say those very words. But then he would go on to say that a .45 ACP 1911 was the best handgun because he killed a guy in Vietnam with one, and 9mm anything was crap. I tried to explain modern 9mm ammo and handguns are nothing like what the Germans used with their Lugers. He didn't care to discuss it so asked him if I could just shoot him with the 9mm I carry. He was not amused and called me a fucking idiot for carrying a gun all the time. I told him maybe he was the fucking idiot for not carrying a tool to defend himself, because a concealed firearm in a proper holster harms no one. Another conversation ended by me walking away.

Jury Duty 5-14-24

I lived in my previous house in another town for 16 years. During that time I was summoned for jury duty at least 4 times. Two of those times I called the courthouse telephone number the night before and heard a recorded message stating my presence in the court was not needed, and that my obligation had been fulfilled. But twice I actually had to appear in court and go through the screening process. Both times I was rejected for reasons that were quite amusing. One was a civil case where a guy was suing everyone under the sun because he was injured at work. When they asked me my opinion about punitive damages I brought up the idiot woman that held a scalding hot cup of coffee between her legs while she drove away from the McDonald's drive-thru and was burned, receiving millions in punitive damages. I asked if the injured party had his medical bills taken care of which the attorneys assured me they were. The guy cut his face but you could not even tell because he was not disfigured in the least. He fell and hit his head on the garage door window which broke and cut his face, so they were suing the company (Jiffy Lube), the corporate and company management, the builder of the building, the architect, the manufacturer of the door, the manufacturer of the window, etc. STUPID! I got bounced for more than just my statements though, since I was friends with the manager of that Jiffy Lube, brought my company van in there regularly, and the plaintiff's law firm was a customer of my company. The other one was a criminal case of assault of one inmate against another in the state prison system. The defendant sat 25 feet away in front of me looking right at me. The attorneys asked if I could be fair and impartial. I told them absolutely not, because he was a convicted criminal and incarcerated, and therefore a liar because everyone in prison is innocent. Plus I was pretty sure they had him on video six ways from Sunday beating the crap out of his fellow inmate. I was thanked for my honesty and sent on my way.

This was the second time in 19 years in my present residence that I have been called. The first time was like previous times, where I called the courthouse and told I would not have to appear. This notice for jury duty arrived in late March, and in Kommiecticut it is now in the form of an actual court summons. Once upon a time, certain potential jurors were automatically excused right off the bat like cops, firemen, EMT's, doctors, lawyers, etc. No more. Only legislators and officers of the court are automatically exempted (how convenient they have exempted themselves from this burden) and anyone 75 or older can choose to be exempt. You can reschedule your date for any reason, but eventually you will have to appear. I filled out the online juror questionnaire promptly and waited for the notice to come in the mail of how to proceed. The notice with the phone number to call the night before came in the mail about a week before I was scheduled to appear.

Now, I don't really give a shit about doing my civic duty in a *GUN FREE DEATH ZONE like a courthouse that is staffed and guarded by unarmed Judicial Marshall's, with one exception... to engage in Jury Nullification. If I am ever called for a case involving non-criminal self defense and the use of deadly force, I will do everything possible to serve on that jury and cause a hung jury and mistrial. No one that uses deadly force to protect their loved ones or their castle should ever even be charged. But this is Kommiecticut and they will try to prosecute you to the fullest if they think they can build a case. And I don't care how they try to make jury service sound like it is such a glorious thing to do. It is a burden to your life, family, and employer, and it's even worse if you end up sequestered.

On Monday evening the 13th I called the courthouse number... and groaned. The recording said to report to the courthouse Tuesday morning and get checked in by 08:30, and also recommended packing a lunch. Lucky for me it was a scheduled day off so I didn't have to deal with my employer. I packed a lunch like I usually do for work anyway and grabbed a breakfast sandwich at the local convenience store for the road. The courthouse is just over 20 minutes away and I got there early not knowing what the parking situation was. It turns out it is a large open lot right across the street from the courthouse with free parking. I stayed in my truck until I saw a Marshall unlock and open the front door. I left my cooler with lunch in my truck figuring that is where I would eat it at lunch time, and also unloaded and secured my firearm so I could easily enter the *GFDZ which uses airport style security measures. I got in and headed up to the 3rd floor Jury Assembly Room. I carried a book, my summons, a banana, and a bottle of water. You are allowed to have your cell phone so I also had that to read my blogs and be on Twitter. But they warn against posting ANYTHING about the case on social media.

I sat in the room for about 40 minutes as other jurors continued to check in. There were a total of 40-50 people and a mixed cross-section of age, sex, and ethnicity. After everyone was checked in and attendance was verified, the Judge came in to address us for about 10 minutes. I could not believe how young he was... maybe 40? After he left we had to watch a pair of videos. A brief one about jury service, and how honored we should be that we were chosen, which to me was nothing but YAY RAH RAH pro jury propaganda. The other one was about bias, and how everyone has them, but need to suppress them concentrating only on the evidence presented. They beat the phrase "Awareness is Fairness" into the viewer with every person in the video repeating the phrase over and over. Another long period of waiting in the assembly room and then we were herded down stairs to the 2nd floor to the courtroom. They held us in the hall for 10 minutes and then we were lead into the courtroom.

We were seated in the gallery for a few minutes and then told to stand and raise our right hand to be sworn in. We were seated again and introduced to the prosecutors, the defendant, and the defense attorney. We were given the simple facts of the case; the defendant's significant other had a restraining order against him, which he proceeded to violate six times over the span of a week by "contacting" her, whatever that meant. There was never any violence, only "contact." He plead "Not Guilty" and desired a trial.

Now I have an opinion about those useless pieces of paper called restraining orders. They are mostly gotten by women against abusive men. So ladies, if you're gonna get one, back it up like this. When he comes to pay you a visit, you be ready to ventilate with extreme malice. Otherwise it is fucking worthless.

Anyway, back to my story. The prosecutors then read a list of names of attorneys, witnesses, researchers, investigators, etc. anyone that may be associated with the case. If you knew any of those people you were to raise your hand to let them know, get questioned, and possibly be excused. Two people raised their hand, and the defense attorney stated there was one more person that did not speak up but should have. The attorneys were then called up to the bench to confer with the judge. The two that raised their hands as well as three other people's names were called and ordered to stay in the courtroom, while the rest of us went back up to the Jury Assembly Room to wait.I don't know whom the third individual was and don't care.

Lunch was supposed to be at 1 PM and I was getting hungry. At 1:10 the clerk and a Marshall came in and she read off several names, but not mine. They were told they could leave for lunch and be back by 2:10 PM. Now my being hungry was turning into becoming "Hangry" as I figured I was going to be called back downstairs at some point and my belly would be growling loudly while answering questions. Nope! As soon as those people left, the clerk said, "If I did not call your name, your jury service is over and you may leave for the day. "WOO HOO! I AM OUTTA HERE!!" I left the building and took off in my truck to eat my lunch under a shady tree in the state park I would pass on the way home... which is exactly what I did. Because I actually appeared in court in person, I am exempt from jury duty for the next three years and will be receiving a certificate of proof in case I get called in error.

I got home, changed my clothes, and headed out on "The Beast" for some much needed wind therapy. I ended up at my baby brother's house some 30 miles away whom I haven't seen in a while. My sister-in-law was there too since she works from home. We had a nice visit for a couple of hours before I filled my gas tank and headed home.

A Couple of 2A Items

Woodstock Fair

Yesterday my wife, her Dad, and I went to the 162nd Annual Woodstock agricultural fair which always occurs for the four days over Labor Day weekend. $10 to park and $15 for my wife and I and only $10 for The Old Man. The only discount is for Seniors over 65 and active duty military with ID. This is a pretty large fair with loads of vendors, tons of food, free stage shows, all kinds of exhibits to include animals, an antique car/truck show, antique tractor and engine show. There is also a midway full of games and rides that we don't bother going into. We watched a comedy/magic show and spent a good hour plus watching the tractor pulls later in the afternoon. To me it is the epitome of the New England agricultural fair.

That said, the traditional part (pre-dating the Civil War) of Yankee New England culture that is not embraced, is the right to keep and bear arms and personal self-defense. They updated their website from the other day and somehow dropped the publication of the "zero tolerance for any weapons" statement. At the gates though, is their 2' x 2' sign stating that and other prohibitions. Once again, the *GFDZ designation is meaningless to me as I was fully armed as usual. There are no metal detectors or bag searches upon entry. I was wearing my Duluth Trading cargo shorts that have generous Velcro secured thigh flap pockets. In my right pocket was my S & W 45 Shield with the extended 7-round mag tucked in a DeSantis pocket holster. In my left outer pocket was a spare 7 round mag. All ammo was Hornady 185 gr Critical Defense in .45 ACP. On my belt in a sheath was my S & W Border Guard blade. Now, the Woodstock Fair inside the fairgrounds is actually pretty secure and safe. There are lots of uniformed (but unarmed) security personnel in pairs patrolling the grounds, as well as plenty of fully uniformed and armed state troopers. They have a Command Post set up with the CSP mobile command unit monitoring the grounds with the telescopic pole mounted cameras. The need for my firearm inside the grounds in practically nil. Also, the majority of attendees are from the agricultural community and surrounding rural areas. The indigenous populations of the blue controlled shithole cities or unruly mobs just stay away. However, the walk to and from and in the parking areas is not secure, other than being located in the little rural town of Woodstock which has a very low possibility of stupid clown world troubles. Just like when on vacation, my being armed is not openly discussed with family members, but I am sure they simply assume I am armed.

Pistol Permit Renewal Delay - Lawsuit?

At the end of June I received my Kommiecticut pistol permit renewal form. I immediately went to AAA to get a set of new passport photos. They give you two 2" x 2" passport photos for $9.50 which I needed for both my pistol permit and U.S. passport renewal. The passport expired in December 2023 and the pistol permit expires on September 15th. I took care of both at the same time since news reports out of the U.S. State Department were huge backlogs for passports; 13 weeks for renewals and up to 4 months for an initial issue. I mailed the pistol permit renewal "Certified" and the passport Priority Mail on Thursday July 6th. Both the pistol permit and passport paperwork was received on Saturday July 8th. The state department cashed my $130 check by Tuesday July 11th, and by the end of July or early August I received my new passport that expires in 2033. As of a few moments ago, I checked my online banking portal, and the $70 check to the state of Kommiecticut has still not been cashed with 13 days left on my permit. You mean to tell me the federal government has their shit more together than the state of Kommiecticut? No, Kommiecticut just likes to fuck with peaceable citizens exercising their 2A rights. It is well known that we are considered political enemies of state government.

This is my 9th permit renewal. Permits in Kommiecticut are good for 5 years, so you do the math. Back in 2013 when they passed the post Sandy Hook infringements, they made a requirement that you must have a permit in order to buy firearms or ammo. There is a 90 day grace period after your permit expires that it is still valid, EXCEPT TO PURCHASE FIREARMS OR AMMO! If I do not receive my newly renewed and valid permit by September 15th, I will begin searching for a 2A attorney (hopefully one that will work pro bono) and contacting The Second Amendment Foundation to file suit. They have created rules for firearms and ammo purchases and then fucking drag their feet processing permit renewals causing a burden on my Second Amendment rights. Attempts to contact ANYONE at the state DESPP firearms unit have resulted in recorded announcements that then dump the call. They absolutely WILL NOT process renewals in person, only by mail. I have been in contact with Jonathan Hardy of the CCDL (CT Citizens Defense League), and his advice is to simply wait. He alluded to the 90 day grace period and state police using that to delay processing. Yeah? You assholes wanna play that game? The gun hating Gov. "Jolly" Ned Lamont and that fucking arrogant puke AG William "Sum Ting Wong" Tong will be on television wailing about another lawsuit against their precious intolerable/unconstitutional infringements. As those of us that are informed found out with the Lois Lerner IRS scandal trying to crush conservative 501(c)3 non-profits, there is no need for written directives to do this kind of shit. The hive-mind of the LIBTURDS all automatically work in unison to adversely affect those that don't bend to their will.

A Four Day GFDZ in Kommiecticut

The Traveler's Championship pro golf tournament begins today at the TPC River Highlands course in Cromwell. In standard Kommiecticut modus operandi, personal concealed carry defensive arms of any kind are forbidden. All bags will be searched, and I'm sure everyone will have to pass through a metal detector then get wanded if necessary. Now, I don't really care because I hate golf and would never attend, in fact I don't attend any sporting events, concerts, or places with large crowds armed or unarmed. The exception is the Eastern States Exposition, but I carry a polycarbonate undetectable blade for that since there are plenty of West Springfield cops on the fairgrounds.

So hopefully nothing bad happens there in the next four days. But the potential for violent mass murder is high, and who is going to stop it, the unarmed security guards? Shoot them first and waltz right in.

Once Again, In The Dark of Night

While the citizens were asleep at 04:19 Saturday morning: New Kommiecticut Gun Control Passes Senate

Yup, that's how they always do it here in Commie Land, vote for infringements right before they scurry away to their little hidey holes. Then get it right to Jolly Ned for his signature. It all takes effect on October 1st. The lawsuits are already written and ready to be submitted immediately upon signature, so the pearl clutching and wailing and gashing of teeth will commence henceforth.

One of the things these unconstitutional/intolerable and unenforceable acts does is strengthen gun storage laws. Previously it only applied to young children in the home, but no more. It applies to everywhere. PICTURED BELOW WILL NOW BE ILLEGAL, however without daily violations of my 4th and 5th Amendment rights I can't be charged with anything proactively.

Self-defense at the ready. Oh, how they REALLY hate this!!

This is my night table right next to my bed as I was getting ready to turn in last night. The cord from the clock radio is for my cell phone and the fob for my alarm system sits on top of the phone all next to my glasses. The dogs will wake and start barking before the alarm goes off, giving me plenty of warning and ability to get up and prepare for a breach of my perimeter. Here's how this infringement will be enforced going forward. If I have to defend myself from an intruder, how did I have such quick access to my firearm if it was locked away unloaded and secure in compliance with the law? By non-compliance, of course. I'll just let the lawyers provided by my CCWSafe Ultimate Plan I pay $500 a year for defend me. Preventing citizens from self-defense, NOT CRIME PREVENTION is the true intent of the petty tyrants in Hartford as always.

The proposed bill in original form was much worse, here is a link to what actually passed. A provision I was happy that got removed was the prohibition of carrying any place that served alcohol. Currently that only applies to bars, and even then only if the owner specifically posts and prohibits it. Otherwise, every time I went out to eat, I would have to make a choice between ignoring the newly created *GFDZ and carry anyway, always going out to eat unarmed, or just never going out to eat. The prohibition of buying more than 3 handguns per month doesn't personally affect me because I can't afford more than one handgun every couple of years or so, BUT... it is still a stupid and unnecessary infringement that has zero bearing on what the criminal element does in acquiring firearms. They can expand the "assault weapons" and "large capacity magazine" bans all they want, I have been happily non-compliant since it's inception in 1994. The ban, in place since 1994, expanded in 2013, and now expanded again have been declared to be aggressively enforced, however the opposite is actually true. The 85% non-compliance rate has frightened the authorities into inaction, because they know there would be a lot of dead tyrant goon squad members not going home to their families.

UPDATE 6-5-23 13:40 EDT --  Here is a link to the bill history showing the votes. In typical Demon-Crap fashion, they apparently just kept voting and counting until they got the desired result. TELL ME THESE FUCKERS DON'T NEED TO BE DRAGGED OUT BOUND AND GAGGED FOR A CITIZEN TRIBUNAL! My rep and senator know their constituents and did the right thing by voting against it.

Doctor Visit Today

Unfortunately not for my knee injury. It was my annual physical with my PCP. A couple of items of interest.

The doctor's office I go to is located in a small office park a couple of towns over. It is a desigated *GFDZ, complete with the signage stating as such and offering the false sense of safety to the employees and patients. I on the other hand, completely ignore such stupidity and waltz right in carrying my concealed firearm. Do you know what? There was no mass murder! Not a surprise really since I am not a violent murderer. As much as I would love to school those people about how useless their policy and ghey little sign in the door is; especially if the enraged jealous ex-husband of one of the girls in the office shows up to kill her and anyone that gets in his way, I just keep my mouth shut. I'm secure in my knowledge of my concealed firearm and ability to use it should the need arise. When I stripped off my clothes I carefully laid my pants on the chair keeping my firearm holstered, safe, and concealed.

The good thing is they have finally gotten rid of their stupid mask mandate. There wasn't a face diaper to be seen on anyone.

When I checked in, the girl behind the desk handed me a clipboard with several forms on it. She told me they were verifying and updating information. The first sheet was demographics, contact, and insurance info. There... below my name, address, birthday, and SSN were two empty blanks to fill in. My gender assignment and my preferred pronouns. Uh... FUCK NO!! Since there was just a space to write in your answer, I wrote the following:

Your Gender Identity: NO MENTAL ILLNESS!

Your Preferred Pronouns: I'M NOT PLAYING!

I filled out the rest of the papers and put that top one in the middle and handed the clipboard in. I did not stick around for a reaction. Perhaps that will earn me a visit from law enforcement for engaging in thought crime and hate speech.

Fuckin' Liars!

When you spew lies to try and garner support for your position, you lose any and all credibility.

Gun violence IS NOT the leading cause of death among children.

If the media was to actually do its job, these anti-gun hoplophobes would be called out, ridiculed, and then ignored.

Written Testimony Submitted Today

I entered written testimony today to the CT General Assembly (CGA) for three bills. In opposition to HB 6667 and HB 6816, and in support of HB 6817. Click on the link called "Raised Bill [doc]" for the bill PDF in it's entirety.

HB 6667 Testimony

                                                   Oppose HB6667

My name is XXXXX XXXXX, and I have been involved with civilian firearms ownership since 1980. I also served in the U.S. Army from 1981 to 1987 earning my “EXPERT” marksmanship badge with the M16. I have held my CT state pistol permit since 1983 right after turning 21. I have competed in many firearms events in both rifle and pistol. I load my own pistol and rifle ammunition using standardized recipes and have developed and tested my own. I perform my own basic gunsmithing, fabrication, modification, and repairs. I have introduced and instructed many “firearms curious” individuals to their first firearms experience as well as an introduction to reloading while stressing safety at all times. I belong to the N.R.A., The CT Citizen’s Defense League, XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX Club, The Garand Collector’s Association, and am an authorized purchaser through the Civilian Marksmanship Program. I consider myself to have more firearm experience than the average firearm owner, and certainly more experience than the majority of members of the CT General Assembly, Administration, state bureaucrats, and sadly to say from experience, most law enforcement.

The U.S. Constitution; Second Amendment
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Constitution of the State of Connecticut; Article First, Section 15
Every citizen has a right to bear arms in defense of himself and the state.

Neither of these statements confer any right to arms, but instead exist to PREVENT government from denying a right to be armed. These rights come from God the Almighty to Americans by birth, not granted by any government entity. That would be called a “privilege” not a right. They also serve to remind those in government that passing ANY gun-control is a blatant violation of their “Oath of Office.”

The pro-civilian firearm disarmament element in the state government are once again targeting the peaceable gun owners of the state, this time by apparently attempting to circumvent the recent SCOTUS decision in NYSR&PA vs Bruen and restrict the carrying and ownership of firearms for non-criminal purposes.

I was going to go point by point why I oppose this legislation, but the entire document is absolute garbage and MUST BE OPPOSED. Any legislator that values The U.S. Constitution, The Connecticut Constitution, and the freedoms valued by the residents of Connecticut should also oppose this entire bill.

HB 6816 Testimony

                                                   Oppose HB6816

My name is XXXXX XXXXX, and I have been involved with civilian firearms ownership since 1980. I also served in the U.S. Army from 1981 to 1987 earning my “EXPERT” marksmanship badge with the M16. Constitution of the State of Connecticut; Article First, Section 15
Every citizen has a right to bear arms in defense of himself and the state.

The pro-civilian firearm disarmament element in the state government are once again targeting the peaceable gun owners of the state, this time by creating a law that:

1). Relies on junk science to infringe on the rights of the peaceable gun owners of the state of Connecticut. This junk science relies on technology that only works in theory and IF it were to be implemented would be easily defeated in seconds with a simple file. It will accomplish nothing but limit the supply of brand new firearms to the non-criminal peaceable citizen, which purchases those firearms from licensed dealers, which I believe is the intended purpose. The criminal will not be affected one bit since they buy stolen and black market arms unabated.

2). The juvenile criminal element that decides to use a firearm in the commission of a crime does not and cannot purchase their ammunition from a retail outlet. Raising the age to purchase ammunition from 18 to 21 simply is another infringement against the peaceable citizens as defined in the U.S. and Connecticut Constitutions, since ammunition and magazines are as much an “arm” as intended by our Founding Fathers.

3). Restricting the mere possession of body armor is another infringement against the peaceable citizen. An arm can be strictly defensive as well as offensive. Modern body armor is as much an “arm” as a knight’s shield and armor were. Allowing government personnel to have such defensive protection and remove it from the citizens proves once again the distrust CT state government has for its citizens. The sale, transfer and possession of body armor should be completely unrestricted.

HB 6817 Testimony

                                                   Support of HB6817

I am writing to provide my support for HB6817, which according to the text of the bill, clarifies and corrects many infringements imposed over the decades in the state that directly affect only the peaceable citizen and their God-Given Right to personal self-defense, like in state parks and forests. It also would allow those peaceable citizens that hold a carry permit from their home state, to no longer become an instant criminal for doing nothing more than by crossing an imaginary line at the state border. Just like a driver’s license, they would be expected to be held to our state’s laws. The most important point for me is #12 to establish a Castle Doctrine. Having to retreat in the face of a violent criminal is never something any citizen should have to do, and the violent criminals running rampant in our state should become acutely aware that their lives may be forfeit in the commission of a crime.

The Dirty Little Secret - EXPOSED

Governor "Jolly Ned" Lamont feeling emboldened by his re-election has laid out his anti-Second Amendment agenda for his second term. Nothing more than yet another round of unconstitutional/intolerable acts that will all be challenged in court, joining the multitude of pending lawsuits already filed. This post speaks to just one proposal, making open carry in the state of Kommiecticut illegal. While it sounds like just another solution in search of a problem.... it is actually much more. I say it is evil.

Gov. "Jolly Ned" (he HATES that name) Lamont's gun control proposal receiving push back. GASP!!

Very few people, myself included, actually open carry in the state. It is currently legal because by actually following constitutional principles, something is legal until it is outlawed. Kommiecticut has never had laws against open carry. That said, waltzing into a crowded shopping mall openly strapped will result in frightened hoplophobes calling the Po-Po. The Po-Po will arrive, guns drawn and arrest that individual, confiscate their firearm and pistol permit, and charge them with breach of peace and other bogus minor charges. That person will then spend big bucks to get a lawyer, go to court, have all charges summarily dismissed, and get their permit and firearm back. All they are in the end is hundreds of dollars poorer and publicly humiliated. I open carry in my home, on my property, walking my dog on my back country road, or hiking in the woods. Otherwise I am concealed and no one is the wiser.

So here is the dirty little secret. Because of what I just explained, the intention is to create a trap, that will do more than just steal your money and humiliate you, YOU WILL NOW BE AN ACTUAL CRIMINAL! Have the audacity to open carry and real criminal charges and penalties will be incurred. So no one in their right mind will attempt such a thing. What the REAL intention is, will be to nail to the wall any gun owners with a bulge in their jacket, or if they were to bend down to pick something up and maybe that nearby hoplophobe "thinks they see a firearm" or the breeze blows your shirt open exposing your concealed firearm and you can bet LE is coming for you. They cannot stand the fact that so many permit holders like myself carry everywhere every day.

Does any of this affect the criminal element. Absolutely not. If a criminal does get caught with a firearm illegally, those charges normally just get plead down or away. No... the intent is ALWAYS to target the peaceable gun owners of this state. Because you see, we have all been damned and condemned for every crime committed with a gun and every mass shooting, simply because we have the nerve to exercise our God given right to self defense instead of depending on the state for such things.

Happy Firearms Appreciation Day

Here in Kommiecticut we celebrate to poke a finger in the eye of the Sandy Hook hoplophobes. We're all sorry your loved ones are dead, but the peaceable gun owners of Kommiecticut and the nation are in no way the cause of the mayhem and death that occurs daily.

So go out and by a new firearm. Stock up on or load some ammo. Spend time at the range making some joyful noise. Go out and harvest game for your table or freezer. Stay strapped all day and open carry if its legal where you live. Let EVERYONE know you will not be beaten into submission to give up your God-given right to be armed for self defense because of the actions of the criminals or the insane.

AS A REMINDER TO THE MEDIA: THERE WERE 28 VICTIMS ON 12-14-12, NOT 26.

Purposely not counting Nancy and Adam Lanza among the dead is disingeuous and simple anti -gun propaganda. Their deaths are just as much the fault and failings of the state of Kommiectict as the other 26.

Gotta Keep Picking That Scab and Keep The Wound Open

Never allow any real healing from such an event. That would put the brakes on fundraising, political activism, and the scheme for total civilian disarmament.

All over the local news the past couple of days and continuing up to December 14th are the news stories reminding us of the 10th anniversary of Sandy Hook. I will link to none of it, you can dig it up yourselves if you really need to. More importantly to me will be Christmas 2022, which is the tenth anniversary of my own personal defense story.

Sandy Hook Elementary School... where they tell us 26 died. Or did they? See what happened to Alex Jones for questioning such things publicly? FUCK `EM! Here's a link to the full book "No One Died At Sandy Hook." Read it for yourselves. It may or may not just be a work of fiction. But I always ask "why did such a book get published?" I believe it's because of all the secrecy behind the investigation and in the report issued by the Kommiecticut State Police. The secrecy was put in place quickly in the dark of night (as usual) by the state legislature and immediately signed into law by then Governor Emperor Dannel Malloy I. Also, 28 people died that day, NOT JUST THE 26 the media always reports on. The first murder victim was Nancy Lanza, when her mentally ill son killed her to steal her legally purchased and owned firearms. The final victim was the killer himself, Adam Lanza, when he committed suicide at the end. I contend that EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE 26 28 VICTIMS was actually a victim of the failures of the State of Kommiecticut to act beforehand. They failed Adam, they failed his mother, they failed the 20 students, they failed the six school staff, they failed law enforcement, and they have failed the entire remaining citizens of the state.

As far as the Sandy Hook families and their supposedly "grass roots" organizations for gun safety; no one... and I mean NO ONE that turns so hard from victim or survivor to political activist first and foremost deserves ANY SYMPATHY! Especially when their work becomes dedicated to stripping citizens of their rights based solely on the actions of criminals or the mentally insane. They must be shouted down and thoroughly defeated, because they have said (on video) repeatedly about the 2013 post Sandy Hook gun control "this is only the beginning." They have also been recorded a few times on audio stating they will not stop until all civilians are disarmed nationwide.

Since 2013, I celebrate December 14th as "Firearms Appreciation Day" and have actually purchased a firearm on that calendar date. If for nothing more but to irritate state firearms officials by having to process sale paperwork marked with that date. I urge everyone to celebrate F.A.D. this year by treating themselves to a new firearm and/or use it to make some joyful noise of FREEDOM. I have to work the 14th, otherwise I'd definitely be at the range commemorating the day.

I Crossed The Rubicon

This past Thursday night we met friends vacationing from London, England in Providence, RI for dinner. Providence is just another Demon-Crap controlled shithole big city urban jungle. Therefore, I made the conscious decision to carry a firearm, disregarding the fact that there is no reciprocity between Rhode Island and Kommiecticut. That decision for me was a big one, and was the first time I had purposely done it. I also carried my SureFire E2D Defender flashlight because I wasn't sure how well lit the streets would be, and my Benchmade Mel Pardue tactical folder as a backup. The firearm was my Ruger LCP .380 loaded with Hornady Critical Defense in a DeSantis pocket holster. I wanted to make sure it was an effective firearm that I could afford to lose.

The restaurant we went to was called Il Massimo Ristorante located at 134 Atwells Ave at the foot of Federal Hill. Not exactly the type of neighborhood I live in... more shall we say, culturally diverse, where the residents will be more than happy to introduce you to their culture if you know what I mean. Parking was a few blocks down Atwells Ave at The Hilton and as long as you don't park there overnight, its free. But that means walking back and forth alone on the mean streets. I dropped off my wife and father-in-law at the restaurant and went to park by myself. There were no incidents of cultural introduction walking to and from the restaurant, so absolutely no crimes were committed, were there?

Dinner was fantastic and it was so great to see them. The last time we saw them was exactly four years ago at their destination wedding in Barcelona, Spain. Their little boy is now 6 1/2 and quite the little chatterbox and fun to be around. Last time he was a shy 2 year old toddler. I had the seared scallops on a bed of saffron risotto and just one beer (Heineken) before the meal. It takes an hour to drive one-way to Providence, and I wanted to be sharp and situationally aware in case I needed to defend myself on the street.

I have always said, and practiced... do something against the diktats of the tyrants once, and doing it again and again becomes easy.

Is The 1st Amendment Dead?

If you're Alex Jones it is.

So in that context, I offer the following free book for your reading pleasure:

Nobody Died At Sandy Hook (Full .pdf book) published in 2015 by Jim Fetzer and Mike Palecek

You see, a book like this comes about due to all the non-transparency, incompetence of investigators, and total secrecy of elements of the investigation. The Kommiecticut state legislature quickly passed special legislation that was immediately signed into law by then Gov. "Emperor Dannel I" Malloy shielding evidence from public review or scrutiny of this and future such events. The official report from the Kommiecticut State Police, available on line for the downloading is so heavily redacted it isn't worth reading. The majority of the Sandy Hook families have become anti-gun zealots, publicly calling for nothing less than full civilian disarmament. But somehow they can become public political figures wanting to limit or abolish a constitutional right, but thou shalt not disagree, debate, or disparage them. I do just that online every opportunity I get.

From 2013 on, when the state passed unconstitutional/intolerable gun control acts, I have declared December 14th "Firearms Appreciation Day" and a day to buy yourself at least one new firearm. There is nothing better than sending in the paperwork to the state with the December 14th date stamped on it.

Interestingly enough, the one and only time I pulled a gun for potential self defense was on Christmas morning 2012, exactly eleven days after Sandy Hook. That story is documented on this page on my blog.

Seen In Kommiecticut of All Places

As regular readers are aware, I carry a firearm at all times, and am a fierce opponent of the GFDZ (Gun Free Death Zone). I got a pleasant surprise yesterday, when I visited a local establishment with my father-in-law that had this sign in the front window:

The business is run by a retired cop that is a huge 2nd Amendment supporter. He had just recently put the sign up and was pretty proud of it. He said its main purpose was to keep liberals away, but he carries all the time, and doesn't mind customers that do. Since were alone in the store, I pulled out and showed him my Smith and Wesson M&P 45 Shield that I had concealed in my cargo shorts. He was impressed how well it was concealed and liked the gun. I haven't seen the proprietor in several months, so we talked for quite awhile about all kinds of subjects before finally making our purchases and leaving.

To see such a sign at a business in Kommiecticut that isn't a gun store is awesome. I wish I could be there when some liberal hoplophobe panty wetter shows up to buy his wares, sees the sign, and has a melt down. Next time I stop in to resupply I will have to ask him if there have been any complaints.

The Failure of The GFDZ

GFDZ = Gun Free Death Zone

Another mass murder in a school, this time in Texas. It's time for something completely different... can we please get rid of the GUN FREE DEATH ZONE designation for schools? Those that could protect kids are disarmed, while those that perpetrate these acts obviously don't give a shit about the law.

Sitting In The E.R. Waiting Room - ARMED!

I am sitting in a hospital E.R. waiting room while my wife seeks treatment for multiple dog bites on both hands. This occurred at work where she is a dog trainer. She was brought here by one of her co-workers, and I didn't know where she was until after I got off shift and home. I took care of the one dog at the house and headed for the hospital. Of course because of COOOOVIIIIDDDD! I can't be with her, so here I wait, wearing my N95 face diaper under my nose and breathing freely. A few other people are wearing theirs the same way. What a fuckin' joke.

I am glad I strapped on the 45 Shield and two spare mags. The hospital, like most is in a shitty urban area. The doors just open when someone goes in or out and there is no security in the waiting room. If some nut were to burst in here with a weapon, he would normally be able to maim or kill everyone in this room unimpeded. But not tonight. I am sitting in the back of the room, back to the wall and facing the door. Unlike the hospitals I usually transport to, this one does not have any signs designating it a GFDZ*. Not that those signs ever matter to me, but normally I only really need to carry to go to and from the parking lots. Here, even inside, I would be a sitting duck.

So Wifey just texted me. She is headed to X-Ray and then getting sutured up. I will text her to make sure she gets a DPT shot since I am pretty sure she is out of date. She says it hurts like hell and that she is pretty hungry since she hasn't had supper.

The Market Will Determine Their Existence

Smart Guns Finally Arriving in U.S., Seeking To Shake Up Firearms Market

They will ONLY be marginally successful with government mandates and/or taxpayer funded subsidies. Let's see how many military units and police departments jump on board for these pieces of shit. My guess is none will. Smith & Wesson learned a hard lesson by being boycotted for working on this concept in 1999, so hopefully all manufacturers will learn from that lesson and stay away from such stupidity.

As for me... yeah, no thanks. I'll stick with a gun that reliably goes bang when I pull a mechanical trigger. Especially if my life is on the line. There are hundreds of millions of firearms out there, so there will never be a need to purchase a smart gun. Last week they were talking about putting "kill switches" in future new cars. Who doesn't think they would be able to do the same with smart guns? Imagine entire areas flooded with smart gun jammer signals, because GUNS BAD! All my firearms are already absolutely safe, providing anyone handling them observes the Four Rules of Gun Safety.
