Q: Why do I think there's a commie behind every tree?
A: BECAUSE THERE IS A FUCKING COMMIE BEHIND EVERY TREE!!

Utilize the language with the same manipulation the Commies do, using the phrase "VACCINE FREE" instead of "UNVACCINATED" or "NON-VACCINATED"

Next Up In Kommiecticut, Legalized Prostitution

Gov. "Jolly" Ned Lamont signs recreational pot bill

I mean, why not, right? Using the same logic Jolly Ned and the Demon-Craps used to legalize recreational pot, its gonna happen anyway so let's turn it into a revenue stream. They have also justified it by telling us "hey, other states like MA & NY are doing it, why can't we?" Of course we all remember our mom's asking if our friends all jumped off a bridge, does that mean you should too?

Yes, I used to partake in my younger days when it was totally illegal. But in the same way I would sit and have a drink at home, not driving or out and about. These days with vaping and edibles it is easy to consume without actually having to smoke it. Like while driving and at work. Poor choices because it makes you stupid and lazy.

It is still illegal at the federal level regardless of what the states do. I choose to not pull a Hunter when I buy my firearms, because I am on a different tier of the justice system and won't get a pass.

Fathers Day Cruise To The Shore

The best way to spend a Fathers Day is doing what YOU the father like to do. And it wasn't just me, there were lots of dads in the group. It was a warm and humid day, but not too bad near the water. These weren't all the bikes, we could not all park together because other people had the nerve to be out on Fathers Day and clogged up the parking lot.

This trip was not without a couple of minor mishaps. We stopped at a gas station on RT. 2 south of Norwich, because SOMEONE on a Harley thought he had enough gas to make it to Stonington.... NOT! While there, my riding bud that also has a Goldwing, accidentally locked his keys in the trunk. He stayed behind to wait for either Honda Roadside Assistance, or his girlfriend to bring the extra set of keys, whoever got there first. His 13 year old granddaughter that was visiting from Georgia and his passenger hopped on with me so she wasn't stuck too. Cute kid, polite, soft-spoken and a pretty mature girl for that age. Although I am not her parent, in my own experience, she may be a little monster at home. Plus I am that much of a trusted friend. The plan was for him to meet us down at the restaurant when he was squared away.

The restaurant we planned on going to was the Dog Watch Cafe at Dodson's Boatyard. Parking was where my mishap occurred. The lot was loose stone, and while sitting and waiting for my turn to park, the stones under my left foot rolled and "The Beast" did what a 1200 pound bike with riders will do. Answer to gravity. Actually not a problem on a `Wing, because the crash bars do a great job of preventing any damage. Funny thing was as the bike was keeling over; in one motion, Julia swung the armrest out of the way, stood up on the floor boards, leaped over the seat and landed on her feet. Normally I can get the bike up by myself, but the loose stone was making that difficult so a couple of the guys came over to assist. I got parked and we went over to the restaurant. They did not want our money because they turned us away saying it was reservation only. Now I would expect a restaurant running that way to have full tables and a line of people queued up minutes before their table was ready. Nope, there was a bunch of empty outdoor tables. It was after 2 PM and the lunch rush and they still turned us away. None of us drink while riding and we are a fun but not rowdy crowd. I guess that was their legal alternative to a sign that said "No Bikers!" Fuck 'em, we saddled up and left.

We headed across town towards RT. 1 in Mystic and the roaside seafood joint called the "Sea Swirl." Good food and not stupid expensive. I got an order of clam fritters, sweet potato fries, and a Barq's root beer. I will be finishing the fritters for lunch today. My bud that got locked out and his girlfriend showed up in time to get some food too. The group broke up from there and my bud's grandaughter returned with his girlfriend in the car. He and I continued on north for about 25 miles or so when he broke off west and I continued north to home.

When I got home and parked in the garage I shut the bike off to let the dogs out. I went back out and turned the bike on "ACC" to see what the total miles were and set the suspension back to my normal. This is the first info screen for outside temperature. I've never seen it go that high.

It definitely was not 117 degrees in my garage, but the air intake thought it was

Juneteenth And I Be Working

I will, however, celebrate today as "Kill A Commie For Mommy Day." For it was today 68 years ago, that Ethel and Julius Rosenberg were EXECUTED for espionage. They were responsible for passing U.S. nuclear secrets to the Soviets, ultimately creating our main nuclear nemesis. They were both FRIED in the electric chair at Sing-Sing Prison in Ossining, NY.

Now if only we could get back to permanently removing Commies from consuming precious oxygen.

I Swear My House Must Be A Waypoint

For general, commercial, and military aviation, because they ALL fly directly over my yellow house. The military flights are my favorite. Multiple pairs of F-15 Eagles out of Barnes AFB. Mostly during the day but also night training. They'll spend a good half hour at a time some nights "dogfighting" high above my house. If you happen to be outside when they head back, you can observe the parade of jets heading northwest at their cruising altitude. I have counted as many as 8 in four pairs. Then there are the CT ANG C-130's out of Bradley. Always in pairs they head out to the east around mid-morning, and west back to Bradley in late afternoon, again right over my house. Every once in a while, they do the low altitude stuff on the return flight, zooming over my house at 500 feet. THAT is extremely cool, but tends to upset some folks in town. My wife saw one do that while driving once and she thought it was going down. She came in the door and asked if there was a plane crash. Then there are the helicopters. Blackhawks, Chinooks, and private/charters. The non-military ones are pretty regular, and we see mostly single Blackhawks for military. Which takes me to why this post.

Earlier today, I heard helicopters coming from the west. It was a flight of six; 3 Blackhawks followed by 3 Chinooks up around 2500 feet. Normally I see them solo. Then, about 1/2 hour ago I heard a low vibration that got louder and louder. I went out on the deck and sure enough, it was the 3 Chinooks heading back to the west. Their altitude was lower than earlier. A few minutes later, I heard the distinct sound of the Blackhawks as they went by at about the same altitude.

I only flew in a whirlybird once, and that was in the military. It was an aircraft familiarization flight in a UH-1 Huey. We took off from Westover AFB and headed north along the Kommiecticut River up to Vermont and back. We flew just over the treetops and I remember waving to some kids in their backyard. I was seated in the bench seat on the side facing out the open door, with a canvas strap across our laps "for safety." The pilot banked pretty steep a couple of times, where first I was looking at the sky, then at the ground. It was very exciting.

Just Another Instance of Pandering

So the Demon-Craps gave a gift of a new federal holiday to all the unionized federal employees and the BLM thug mob. No need to negotiate with the union goons, they must be thrilled with a new paid benny. The Demon-Craps and woke crowd are already making noise about following suit here in Kommiecticut for a new state holiday. On the local morning news a little while ago, some community agitator was talking about using a new holiday for "taking their message to the suburbs." But with freedom of speech, does not automatically grant the right to be heard. Didn't they learn last summer no one outside the shithole cities gives a fuck or wants their nonsense in the 'burbs? It certainly won't be well received in rural areas (S.S.S. anyone?) The whole thing just stinks of another step towards reparations.

I know I am not woke enough to get it, but to me, it would make way more sense to celebrate September 22. For that is the day in 1862 that Abraham Lincoln signed the original Executive Order for the Emancipation Proclamation. The day he signed it into law was January 1st 1863. Oops... that's already a holiday, so I would say stick with September 22nd.

But then, that's not at the start of the summer vacation season, is it?
